the $55, $80k gtd syndicate is running again tonight on pokerstars. This time up, its Snake_eyes to play his game. everyone is wishing him luck and you can follow his action here: LINK

Still a long way to go in these, but it would be nice to see Snake get a decent cash tonight to get the ball rolling and break the duck!

Amatays Binkage Thread

Is going well, but only for him! As of yet, the only other person to manage a binkage post in there is DoV, for his Bloggerment win. If you play MTT's and are good enough to win any, whatever site, please join and post your binkage, just to stop him having a HUUUUGEE head :-).

The Mirror Prop Bet

Starts on Sunday evening. basically a bunch of us playing MTT's and the person with the best results wins the prop bet! We are all playing the same games, so it should be a lot of fun. if you want to join up and play this, just join here and let us know in the forum!

The Bloggerment, Birthdays + APAT

The Bloggerment

The game was played out yesterday evening by 16 players gracing the virtual felt for some fun, but deadly competitive poker. After a few hours of play we finally had our Final 3:

DoV and KNSTV ended up Heads Up, where Dreams Of Vegas prevailed and managed to take down the first in the series of the Bloggerment. A big well done to him. Rumour has it that there was some luckboxing along the way, but as they say in poker.. "we all need a little luck".

Birthdays

Congratulations to member Longy, our resident SnG Specialist, who celebrated his 30th birthday on Monday. We hope you had a good one sir.

APAT

The team championships are coming up again in January and team selection has been on our mind. Obviously we are going to favour people who has supported us in these events previously and this is currently how the team is looking:

Unfortunately there are only 8 spots available this time around and we have 2 places left. Our other interested parties: Acornman, rubbish and kronsdat, will be having a little playoff for the two seats, with the 3rd placed player getting the 1st reserve seat.

We have a bit of a reputation in these team events finishing second in this exact event last year and having the individual winner, Mary Martin. We also finished 3rd in our other team event, run by Newcastle Poker Forum.

Hammerheids RTR challenge - Pre Match

1) How are you going to start the challenge??
45 man $1.10 turbo and 18 man $1.75 turbo , im not too good at multitabling so im going to stick to 2 tables open

2) You're up to $25 after an hour. What do you do in that situation??
Faint lol , no if im up by $25 after an hour then im going to continue playing the same tourneys as they say if it aint broken dont fix it

3) And when are you doing the challenge??
Challenge will begin at 8pm on tues 20/11/07
